The Weekend Proclaims...

a victory.

for the bears too!  woot woot!

Our weekend was spent in the comfort of our home for the most part, which sometimes makes for the best ones.  I love the comfort of home on the weekends.

Don't get me wrong adventures are always fun and the days when you wake up and say let's go here at the last minute can make for some pretty great moments, but there is something to be said when you have "nothing" on the agenda to do.

Fresh washed sheets on a Sat. Morning, waffles for breakfast, my family all under one roof and a clean house to "start" off with make for a pretty good start to the weekend. And there is a little extra spice added when I am able to sneak out during nap time to Starbucks for a late afternoon latte.  Yes that would just about sum up my Saturday and it was delightful.

I put up my Halloween decorations and Grey was super excited.

And in between decorating there were some toys that needed a little TLC

Saturday night we all got ready and decided to go out to eat.  My mom got Sailor this hand knitted sweater at Goodwill for $1.00!!!  I.Love.It!  I've been putting bibs on her because she's a drooling machine lately.

while this one had some new Jordans to skate around in...Thanks Papa Mike!

I think she was workin' one up - This is the face we usually get and then there is a full load to change-ha!

By Sunday morning he found himself fed up with the camera and in the same outfit for church.  Remember it's only half dirty...so whatev...we just go with it..

Cute...nonetheless

He pranced around while

Sailor just watched...

and Sunday night brought us all together over at Auntie Kathy's and Uncle Mike's house for a good ol' homecooked meal - "pre-Thanksgiving" style...

where papas made over their grandbabies

and Uncle Alex cuddled with his new little niece

and we were even given a live performance from Mary Rose...future broadway star...

a victory indeed that involved some really good Sangria on ice

And after dinner and live entertainment we indulged in this.....mmmmmm...some blackberry cobbler...delish:)

and after supper Uncle Mike brought over a baby garden snake to show Grey-
you should have heard him squealing!

and Monday morning brought me to this...we have to save these when the toilet papers all gone...ha!

Happy Monday everybody....Cheers to a good and productive week!
