A little tantrum mixed with a yawn...

Sidenote:  I had Sailor all dressed up in the morning and by the afternoon she wanted these boots on...sister is really into picking her own shoes these days...

 A "binta" makes everything better in her life...

I had my jammies and "scuffies" on just sittin' back while my littles played in front of me... but usually I have to time Grey on how long he can stay under the water;)  He's practicing for 'swim season' you know;)   We've also started wearing our goggles in the tub...

Pizza Break!

Grey was examining Sailor's 'booboo'

 and then proceeded to give her a kiss...

Sister thought it would be fun to feed Grey...

 Pizza Break was followed by a reading date with my boy...he requested What Animal am I?

I told Sailie to "strike a pose"...

And today when I arrived home from school I was greeted with this...I'm a lucky mama!

Stay at home night...

That's what Greyson calls it..."mommy, is tonight a stay at home night?"  And as a matter of fact last night was a stay at home kind of night.  I also declared it a 'no tv' night....well, at least for a while it was.

So, we pulled out books after supper....Grey read some Valentine books to Sailor...(he makes up the words as he goes:)

Then we pulled out 'Mrs'. Potato Head...

they were cracking eachother up for the longest time...

this girl is something else...i'm telling you...

then we practiced some writing...

after all that was done Sailie went to bed and Grey watched a little TV...

Thursday's Post

Little words this morning because I'm running a little late.  Just some pics of our life lately.


We have this nice little park right down the street from us, so most afternoons we go there...Sister was all puma'd out;)  Nate had me laughing because he said she looked like a race car driver - haha!

oops not happy...but I couldn't resist...

and this little guy can be found with his wranglers pulled up and his cowboy boots on...

Sister loves a good swing....probably one of the only times she'll sit for something...

This was the other evening after school....it was a little chilly....

 

They love to ride with Nate on the mower...no, I know it's not the safest thing but it's only for a second...long enough for me to take some pics and then they are off...

I wanted a pic with sis but she wasn't having it...

but my little buddy jumped right in my arms...

What's been going on?

Well that's a question isn't it?!

For starters, we are getting settled into our new home little by little.  We've been here about a week and there are still boxes here and there that I need to go through but it's getting there.  I've managed to get new window treatments on the windows thanks to Papa Mike and new hardware on the cabinets.  I went with the faux wood blinds and these cool stainless steel handles for the kitchen...  (i have not taken any pics yet but I promise I will)  All of our brand new stainless steel appliances look amazing especially due to the fact that I have not used them yet -ha!

I've done a little grocery shopping but my kids have had one too many happy meals lately if ya know what I mean...I'm hoping to get back on track here very soon...

This was just an ordinary morning spent at Grammy Ann's house...

nothing a little John Deere can't spice up...

In between all of that we made it to Livy's first game!  She's cheering for the local youth football team.

 She looks super cute in her uniform!

Sister is walking all over the place (probably since the end of July) - She.does.not.stop!  It didn't take her long at all to figure out her new found freedom;)

Greyson is loving school and I'm so thankful for that - you don't know how I worried about this...but he's really doing good with it...we have a special chair in his room for his bookbag and he always wants to do his 'homework' right away...

The hardest part for me is getting things organized the way I want them...once I get started I'm good to go but it's the figuring out where to put stuff that gets me if that makes sense.

Don't know what else to say except Sister was amused with her ice cube...

We are taking it one day at a time...we have a little park right down the street from us...and the other day we took a family walk after supper and Greyson ran into a little girl from his class.  It was so cute...he started off the conversation with "hey, are you in my class?"  It was too funny!

We love our new house and the neighborhood.  It's been a good move for us.

And so, without further ado, today is my birthday!  Nate and I cleaned and organized our garage which is what I wanted to do.(I know I know, but i feel so much better now that it's done)  He's also taking me out to dinner tonight!  Dee Dee and Papa Davey offered to take the kids so that works!

It's absolutely beautiful here today - I have all of my windows open...the fresh air feels so good!
