Finding the special moments in the craziness

Nate and I were both pretty sure we were going to loose our minds yesterday morning.  It started bright and early with Grey getting up before 6am while a big storm was going on.  Sailor did not have the best night.  She just could not get settled which continued on through the day.

Here she is already telling me - no more pictures mama

After we were all awake we put Grey in his undies.  After that I asked Nate to back up my pictures onto our hard drive.  So downstairs he went and Grey of course followed. So okay Grey will just play while Nate works on the computer.  (Not so much)

He did very good until he ran up the stairs telling me he had to go pee.  I looked and he had already gone pee and POOP!  GROSS!  So into the shower he went and Nate cleaned up the mess.

Ok so pictures are in the process of being "backed-up"  -now what on this rainy Sunday?

He loves to just look at her.  So sweet.

After all the potty mess was cleaned up it was time to check Nate's tomato plants after the storm.  Well of course Nate could not go outside without Grey so the two of them went and about 10 min later Nate is bringing Grey in crying because he wanted to climb on the ladder - and Nate said NO and it brought on a tantrum.

So Grey is crying and crabby and I finally remember that he hasn't eaten much and who is not crabby when they are hungry.  So I give Grey some fresh ham and turkey and some watermelon and he seems a little better.  Ok so I'm still nursing Sailor because as I said she just could not get settled and everytime I went to put her down she would start crying.  Nate and I just kept passing eachother looking exhausted.  ha!

After that we turned on some Toy Story 2 for Grey and he wanted to play his guitar.  Well that was fine until he got mad about something (don't even remember what it was) and threw his guitar - yep...so Nate put him in a time out in his crib which Grey DISLIKES very much and guess what happened next....Grey peed in his crib.  So strip his bed sheet get him cleaned up again, put down crying baby, and go start the load of laundry.  Fun Fun on this rainy day.

but I did capture some sweet moments over the weekend.

Ok so Sailor still can't get settled and we need to find something for Grey.  So, I made a Target list for Nate and him.  Grey quickly asked if he could get a slushy and all Nate could do was laugh because of how exhausted he already was and it was only NOON.  So the two of them head out while I try to figure out Sailor.  She might have had a little gas I'm thinking.  Because there were some explosions in her diaper after a while and she was kind of burpy.

So Nate and Grey return with all the items I needed from Target and Grey has a blue tongue -Target mission complete with slushy and all.
Nap time it is - I put Grey in his crib and Nate heads for a nap also.  I'm still trying the "bounce and pat" if you will with Sailor.  It's probably about 3:00 by now and my newborn has not really slept.

So about an hour and a half later we have a lil' boy yelling from his room that he's ready to get up.  Whaaa???

So get grey up and Nate too;)
Nate took Grey outside to run around for a bit while Sailor and I both fell asleep.

We head to Sunday night dinner and guess who sleeps the whole time?

This little Miss:)

However all these pictures were taken over the weekend of my sweet little babes and good thing so I can see how sweet they really can be in between all the craziness-ha!
