This is the finished look of the patio.  I'm so excited about it!  It looks beautiful.  I love the way it turned out...can you tell I like it?!

 Now I need to find patio furniture...I've been looking but I'm gonna wait for some clearanced deals I think...

Lemonade for Lily

There is a little girl Lily who is 3 years old in our local community that was just diagnosed with neuroblastoma (a form of cancer).  The daycare Lily goes to decided to put on a lemonade stand today.  It truly was amazing.  It was all by donation and they raised close to $3000!  Isn't that awesome?!  There are truly some great people in our community.  And it's so nice when we all come together especially for something like this.  God Bless sweet Lily and her family.

My good friend Molly runs this daycare (she's right in the center in stripes:) and these are all the moms and kids from her daycare!  It was so cool!

They made a poster of sweet little Lily!

Another family friend of ours -Nancy hosted this sweet lemonade stand... and as you can see North central Bank donated the snow cone machine - which was A BIG HIT!

My kids were already in their swimsuits because we headed to the pool after this...it was soooooo hottt today!  Mary joined us too!  She was a big help to me today!  Thanks Mary!

It was a special day for our community and I'm so glad my kids and I were able to share in it!

The Rest of our Weekend...

Yes I'm still catching up from last weekend.

We had pool time, lots of cook outs, and some sun kissed babies.  (I love when my babies smell like sunscreen - yummmm.)  And since Nate was on a fishing trip my kids and I pretty much lived at my parents house.  It was so nice to have the extra help and a little rest and relaxation.

We had a minor setback...Jayne stepped in some dog poop...but nothing major:)

Nate was able to join us Friday night...so that was good:)

and look at these three...i think Livy was playing teacher...she had the 'perfect' students...

They all took turns listening to the ocean...Honestly I'm so thankful that I catch these moments...How special are kids - I mean really...I forgot how much fun it is to hold a seashell to my ear:)

and i can't even begin to tell you what a spit fire our lil' Jayne is...she's another one that doesn't miss a trick;)
