A Park Kinda Day

My mom decided to take on a project at my grandmas house with the help of her lovely sister....my Aunt Amy!  So, while they painted and painted and painted, I took the kiddos to the park.  It was just a park kinda day I guess.

Where we walked and held hands all the way...

where the sun was warm and we could feel the sand between our toes...

where little boys tried to climb up on toys and had lots of help

where, of course the swings were in order...

and there is always someone there to help along the way with those swings

and then there were the monkey bars......those darn monkey bars that for the most part are tricky for little kids.  Believe me, I see it everyday on the playground at school.  They want to climb those monkey bars so bad, but they are just not ready for it yet.

But nonetheless, you must give them a try....

and take sand breaks in between

and then back to the monkey bars

hold on tight

those girly nails were sure chippin' after digging in the sand but she didn't care...

and Grey had some fun in the sand himself

and of course so did Liv...can't you tell?!

and then back to the slide

and then we found the big WASHINGTON rock where they looked and "tried" to read what it said

and they looked for bugs

and this time they went digging in some dirt.

A park kinda day indeed!
