Fall...I can feel it.

The cool, crisp air was upon us this weekend and it felt oh so good.  Call it a party, a get together, a little gala, where friends gathered with their kiddos and sipped on wine.....where jeans were put on and sweatshirts were needed....where littles played and enjoyed the company of one another.  Where the grill was out and sausage was on it and fresh bruschetta was covered with the smell of garlic.  Yes, Fall....I can feel it.

where little girls found enjoyment sitting on a flannel blanket playing with trains.

and a little boy close to my heart found excitement in the light switch of a little house

and little boys with bright blue eyes ADORED the trains he brought because Thomas is the coolest thing a kid could have

and little boys and girls huddled together for pictures....yes it was Fall here the other night and we all loved it.

My sweet little boy started all decked out in his sweet cowboy boots, which were perfect for this sweet Fall night out on a farm, but

those too were soon kicked off and left to lay while he ran around with only his "dirty" socks on.

and as the night sky started to turn dark the perfect bon-fire was made.....

and the DJ picked the perfect, yet mellow songs to play

and the fire burned and burned and S'mores were made by the littles and enjoyed by the mommies too and oh so sticky fingers were upon us...

Thomas the train was left to rest

because the kids were running in the big open field of the cool, crisp night sky.....Fall....I can feel it.....sweatshirts were zipped, but their hands were like ice.

Shovels were for picking up rocks

and scooping them up....

Girls huddled close and told secrets galore

while this little didn't have a clue and kept on digging....with his oh so sweet cowboy boots back on

and boys messed around like little boys should do

and the best part of the night was when the littles got tired and the toys were put away... we all brought our chairs closer to the fire where my little buddy came and snuggled with me the rest of the night under the stars where he pointed up and blinked his hands trying to sing Twinkle Twinkle

Ahhhhh...yes Fall....I can feel it....and he soon fell asleep in my arms where the adults talked until at least 10:00 and then it was time to call it a night and crank up the heat in my car for the ride home....

But nonetheless the morning fast approached where my little antagonized some fish

and "manny" tools were with us

and sweatpants were on because of the cool, crisp breeze coming through the house

yes.....Fall....I can feel it

and cups were out because they make a stellar "toy"

Fall....I can feel it.
