Technically it's called Group Literacy and it started today! Grey will go 2 days a week this fall to Oglesby (where mommy teaches) and then LP runs a program that starts in October. He will have 2 years of preschool starting next year because of his November birthday. But I'm glad that he will be one of the older ones in his class. I have tossed around starting him in pre-K in January when he's 3, but I'm just not sure and I'm really leaning towards waiting. But we shall see. I just don't think he's ready for preK 5 days a week.
So for now he stays busy with his 'group literacy'
Sails joined her big brother today and was kicking away during story time.
This is Grey's teacher -Ms. Sue...and she is WONDERFUL!
She is also the preschool director at Oglesby so I know how good she is first hand.
Grey's friend Brody was there too.
'Shakin their wiggles out'
And this is his favorite part. GLUE! He could care less about the project most days, but the important thing is squeezing that glue bottle.
After school we went home, packed a lunch, and headed to the park. Just the three of us<3
Currently both my kids are sleeping so I must get 'something' done.
LOVE grey's outfit ... aren't those little t's with the ties awesome?!?!
ReplyDeleteYes Rachel I LOVE those T's. I ordered them off Etsy...another addiction of mine;)
