Happy Valentine's Day

Well Grey woke up this morning bright and early at 6:30am.  We had our snuggle time in bed with some orange juice and the Disney channel.  Then it was onto a bowl of cereal along with our daily vitamins;)  Whenever I take mine he asks for his.  It's funny......he hears them a mile away.

We got all dressed up today and Grey was looking very dapper in his tie and sweater.  We made sure it was red for the bright and sweet Valentine that he is!  We moussed his hair and we had his "valentine" bag all ready to go.  He even brought Miss Sue a special rose.  It was too cute.  Grammy Ann said he did a good job.  We had been practicing telling people Happy Valentine's Day and he did!  He's such a love!

I didn't get any pics this morning, so I took these today after school.

He liked my rose pen......

and the chocolates;)

Happy Valentine's Day!

Be My Valentine

Yesterday Grey and I bought Valentines for him to pass out at school on Monday.  Grammy Ann is makin' rice krispie treats in the shapes of hearts also.

Grey decided to go with Handy Manny Valentines this year.  So, we came home from the store and we worked real hard.

Grey checked each one out...

very carefully...

These hands were hard at work especially with all the heart stickers that were in the box...

He was very serious in his work...

and his "writing" was just right!

He should have a fun day tomorrow....

and I'm sure all his friends will just love the Handy Manny valentines...

We will keep you posted...

Blizzard 2011

This is precious love

precious love

No, I can't let it go

This is precious love,

and it's teaching me everything I need to know...

This is precious love

oh, it's precious love

No, I can't get enough

Oh, I'm down on my knees

begging you please

to give me more of that stuff

Oh, it's love, love, love, love, love, precious love....

I say a prayer and send it to you...

That my heart will always be true

Life wouldn't be the same without you

so I say thank you, I didn't know what life was, but now I, now I understand

This is precious love, precious love
NO I can't get enough
Oh I'm down on my knees
It's there that I see, it must be from heaven above

This is precious territory baby....
Blizzard and All - hell yeah!

This is a precious love that's teaching us all to be better each and every single day.

Lyrics to song - Precious Love by James Morrison.

You should listen to it.

18 weeks Prego

How far along?  18 weeks

Baby Size?  Baby Ernat is 5.6 in. and the size of a sweet potato.  Baby Ernats bones are hardening and the first ones to do so are the inner ear, which is why the baby will start to hear my voice now and my heart beating or my tummy growling.

Sleep?  Still pretty good, just the same thing of getting up every week is the same too.  I think it will be like this from here on out.

Best moment this week?  Feeling a lot more kicks and jabs in there and they are all over the place.

Food Cravings?  Not so much.  I still eat scrambled eggs for breakfast just because of the protein but I wouldn't say I'm craving them, but they sure do taste good.

What I am looking forward to? I made my appt. for the big 20 weeker ultrasound. But, now my doctor's office does it at 22 weeks. So, my appt. for that is March 7th.....can't wait to see the little bugger on screen.

Gender?  Nope

Pregnancy Symptoms?  My lower back is starting to hurt, which I don't remember with Grey this much this early and my muscles feel sore.  Does this mean I'm getting old?  lol!  I tried to stretch yesterday after my workout and it was killing me.  But then I read my 18 week update and it said all this stuff about back pain and sore joints and hormones that can cause one big ouch!  Well I think I'm really starting to feel it.  And if that's the case I don't know what I'm going to feel like as this pregnancy progresses...lol!

Happy Birthday Grandma Joyce!

It's no secret around here that we celebrate birthdays for EVERYONE.  It's important to celebrate birthdays.  It's your one special day so why not party and celebrate being one year older and one year wiser.

Last Sunday we celebrated grandma Joyce's 76th birthday down at my moms and can you say garlic?!  We rang in her 76th with some bagna cauda, bruschetta, and some baked ziti.  It was sure good and you could smell us for proof with all that garlic flowing around.

I would also like to add that Joyceys cake was from the new bakery - (Steve's) - that's in town and it was really good and really BIG!  We had enough cake for everyone to take home.  White cake with raspberry filling---yummmmm.

76 years and still going strong.....She's the head Queen B around here...

I know grandmas eyes are half closed but I like all their faces in these...

then Grey helped grandma blow out the candles....

Happy Birthday Grandma Joyce.  We love you!

A Day for a hair cut

What else is there to do on a snow day other than get another hair cut?  Yep that's what we did.  We did some serious playing this morning, watched a little Sesame Street, went down for a nap, and then went to get a hair cut.  By the time we left to get a hair cut it was pretty bad out but we made it.  Grey was not very happy when we got there.  But, a sucker and mommy's lap did the trick.

These were taken with Nate's phone...I meant to bring my camera but I forgot it.

So, when we got home from the Barber shop Grey was full of hair so into the tub he went and then I styled his hair and took some pictures.

Happy Snow Day!

Ice Fishing Video

This was just a short video of the kiddos in the hut on the ice.....from Sunday!
