Puddle Fun!

Last night it rained here for a little bit.  I was ready for a big, loud, thundery storm but instead it didn't last very long.  SO, after it was over we took Grey out so he could play in the puddles and this is what we have to show for it.

Face Mask...

So, Mary brought over all her cool baseball gear on Sunday.  She just happened to have a face mask in the pile and Greyson thought it was the COOLEST thing he had ever seen.  We were all cracking up.  He ran around with this thing on, he played tag with this thing on, he looked for bugs with it, and he even tried to drink through it-ha!  However, when he went to drink some of his sprite he did have to remove the mask.

He cried when all the baseball gear had to leave with Mary...He cracks us up!

A Mama's Special Day

My Mother's Day started with church.  Just me and my boys and one trying very very hard with all his might to contain himself in church.  I had to tell him to whisper quite often but for the most part he spent in my arms and we had a rhythmic little flow going and he was sure to hand me my artificial rose afterwards.  LOVE.

My mom had all of us over on Mother's Day.  It was a beautiful day and a day I was thankful to be with my family.  My mom set up a beautiful display on her deck and we had a quaint but GIRLY brunch.  The best kind! 

Have I told you how much I love brunches?!  My fave!  Egg, cheese, ham casserole, fresh fruit salad, fresh strawberry salad, sausage, blueberry muffins just to name a few things that were on the menu...I won't even go into the fabulous coffee cakes or patiza that was there...Just know that it was Delish!

Aunt Amy made all the special ladies hand-made corsages for the day.  It was a fabulous touch.

And my mom had a vase of roses for each of the special moms at the party to take home.....it was a beautiful day!

Of course a brunch calls for mimosas and bloody mary's and just the right bartender to make it complete...He's been taught by the best you know - Sidetracks and all...

And I must tell you the gift I was given on this Mother's Day from my hubby...Nate surprised me with a diamond wedding band to go with the one I already have.  So special.  I've been wanting one for a long time and it looks beautiful...So now I can wear my diamond ring in the middle, one diamond band in the back and one diamond band in the front...I've got some BLING baby!

 Sidenote:  Nate told me I'm good with gifts for the rest of the year...ha!

I wanna take the time to relish in my special day.  I am so blessed with 2 little angels and being a mom has been the best thing that has ever happened to me.  I LOVE it!  It's my most important/cherished/hardest job.

I have much more to share with you about the special women in my life, so more to come.

But for now, it's another manic Monday.  I'll be back!

He did have his PJs on but Nate and him do this "jumping competition" onto the cushions (not too sure I like it) and he always says it makes him so hot -ha! so he always wants his clothes off while he does it...
