Baker's Lake

The sun looked so inviting yesterday. It really did. It was up to about 45 here-woot woot! So, as soon as I picked up Greyson we came home...I changed.....grabbed milk and grapes for Grey.......an apple for myself......and off we went for a walk to Baker's Lake this time! The vitamin D was calling our names and we could really use some....Grey and I both! It also made for a great place to take pictures. I mean really Baker's Lake is a great place to go if you ever need some cool photos!

Grey enjoyed himself so much. He did good in his stroller the whole way to the lake but as soon as I let him out of there it was like he was FREE and running around everywhere! It was also really nice because on our way to the lake we saw kids riding bikes, some people playing bags, some kids playing in a treehouse.........it was like-phew kids really still do this type of stuff!!!!! You mean they don't ALL play video games all the time. It was pretty refreshing to see. Here are the cool pics I took! There's quite a few...

Before I let the little bugger out...

Like my long shadow in the back...

He thought the bridge was pretty cool

But, this was where it got a little hairy....he was trying to climb up on the bridge....NO NO!

Running again....back and forth he would go

Once again his little hands had to be freezing but he kept taking off his mittens

This was also a little hairy because when the snow melts....what's left? M-U-D Needless to say Grey did get a little muddy!

Greyson and I are both fighting colds right now so the fresh air did us good and it had both our noses running which is a good thing! Come on warmer weather bring it on!

Happy Friday everybody!
