Sarah's Shower

Yesterday my mom and dad gave their god child Sarah a bridal shower and it was sooooo nice!!! Sarah is my dad's sister Melanie's daughter! My mom had the house looking so springy and clean and she had FRESH flowers everywhere! She knows how to throw a party let me tell ya! She had a beautiful brunch buffet also! And to add to the girly shower we decided to throw Grey into the mix of things. He was all pimped out in his Easter outfit which just made it a whole lot better!

My lil' man!

Grammy Joyce was a wonderful helper to my mom yesterday and so was Auntie Kathy and Mary

Here's the hostess with the mostess and her wonderful spread

It was so yummy....I love that breakfast casserole

spinach salad and fresh fruit......the perfect SPRING brunch

this was the best picture I could get of Sarah and her fiance

Grey really enjoyed the fresh fruit

He's ready for the Easter Bunny......basket in mouth we're ready to go

some pics of the gang

And THEN this had to happen............Grey was running full speed in the family room and hit his forehead right onto my parent's step going into their family room. It was not pretty....I thought I was going to have to go to the ER.....Luckily I did not.....it is black and blue though....does it ever fail....right before vacation....:(

Grey and Auntie Kathy

Special shout out to grammy Ann for giving such a beautiful shower......and special thanks to grammy Joyce and Auntie Kathy for helping out!
PS. We are headed to Florida today......our flight leaves at 10am! I will be sure to keep you posted!

  1. Aw poor Grey. He looked pretty cute even with that big shiner. Ouch, he must have hit hard for it to bruise so fast. The shower looked beautiful. How nice of your parents to host her shower.
