Happy at Home...

After a busy weekend, we've been enjoying some time at home.

Friday night I took some pictures at a wedding for some friends.  I was really excited to do it and they turned out pretty good.

Saturday we hit up the carnival at HyVee and Saturday night we ordered pizza and ran to Target to buy our cousin Braeden a birthday present.  Of course, Greyson wanted to get him a light saber.  We went with the red one;)

Then Sunday it was up and at em' bright and early because Greyson was heading to Algonquin with Dee Dee, Papa Davey, and Auntie Mims for Braeden's birthday party.  I couldn't go because they have cats...although Den (braeden's dad) said it could have made for a pretty exciting 2nd birthday party - you know an ambulance coming to wheel me away because I couldn't breathe all that great - of course not the breathing thing but Braeden would have liked the ambulance and all-haha!

So, Sunday I was able to get some cleaning done, some laundry, and a good start on the pictures I took on Friday.  I was also able to get some 'one on one' time with my Sailor girl!  I think the two of us stayed in our jammies all day and Nate did a little fishing.  It's always nice to have days like that once in a while.

Last night after supper we brought the kids outside to run around a bit....well, I guess Grey ran around a bit....it was a little chilly so we wrapped Sailor in a blanket in her stroller...I think it's time the snowflake blanket is put away...
(oh will these three people ever know HOW MUCH I love them?!)

and this little dude is getting pretty good on his 'razor'...

maybe now is not the time for a kiss from brother....;)

and today Greyson wanted to make "chalk water"...so he did!
sister knows how to rock an outfit, doesn't she?!  She's rockin' in her purple socks today!

Sailor wants to know what all the hype is with this chalk business...

Sailor enjoyed putting her hands in the many "puddles" as Grey referred to them as...(for the record, they were little puddles but her rockin' purple socks still managed to get soaked)

so two days into the week and this is what the scene around here looks like...

One thing is for sure...

This little baby girl is CRAZY about her daddy!

Happy Tuesday!
