I tell ya - there's a lot of stuff....
Anyway, it was his first trip to the dentist and he did pretty good. I didn't tell him until this morning that he was going and surprisingly he handled it very well. When it was time for him to go back he didn't even flinch he just went right back...I think it helped that he was told he could feed the chinchilla that was in the back room;)
But then about 15 min. later I heard him crying and my heart just sank. I texted my Aunt Amy right away for some words of wisdom;) Ha - I knew there was obviously nothing I could do but still I felt terrible - first of many I know. The woman sitting next to me in the waiting room just turned and said -"is that your little guy?" and I said yup...she proceeded to tell me that her daughter was the same way on her first visit and now she can't get her to leave...
I really hope that's the case with Greyson eventually but I somehow don't think it will be. I just know my child:(
When he was all done he came out with a wet face from previous tears and a big smile for his mama! He had a picture (x-ray) of his teeth to show me and a little bag of floss, stickers, and a kaleidoscope to take home. So, we made it through our first dentist appt. - I'm glad that's over! Now, if I can just get through the first - oh i don't know YEAR of pre-school - we should be good to go. (insert sarcasm now)...
He was all ready for his 'big' morning at the dentist office...he had a nice shower, some breakfast, some play time, all dressed up and hair moussed, and then off we went.
I was trying to get him to give me a big smile of those pearly whites...
cheeeeeeeese!
After the dentist we came home and Dee Dee and Auntie Mims picked up Grey to go swimming so that Sailor and I could run some errands.
So, I got Sailor ready and we started at the grocery store...then to target...then a stop at the realtor's office to sign more papers...
When we got home I brought her outside to take some pics...
This seems to be a common face right now...
Then we went inside for a snack which is where the blueberries come in...Sailor eats them like they are going out of style...she just CHOWS on them -and hey I'm not complaining...
We were missing our Grey though...Sailor kept saying her version of his name and pointing to his chair...
That about sums up our day thus far...Grey is still swimming and Sailor is down for her nap.
oh the dentist! my julie cries every.single.time. :( she comes out with a smile but i hear her in there and my heart sinks as well! they say she doesn't put up a fight just the tears so i guess that's better. ugh! love the pics of both of the kiddos, they always look so darn cute!
