Nate and I started the weekend at the August Hill Winery for a little wine tasting. We met friends there and it was a lot of fun. We had never been there before so it was something different to do. We picked 6 different types of wine between us to try and by the end of the night it was TIME to go home;) Gotta love date night though...

Mother's Day I woke up to personalized cards and breakfast in bed. What a great way to start the day...
Then we all got ready and headed over to my moms for a nice little lunch! Greyson was lookin' mighty fine with his hair all moussed and he was sporting his new Hawaii T-shirt from Uncle Just;)
A little lovin' from grammy Ann
when I look at these pictures with my kids...I just don't know how I got this lucky...trust me when I tell you I say my prayers every single night...and I always think of that saying about - what if you were left with only what you thanked God for the night before - CRAZY to think about...(always runs through my mind-ALWAYS)
They play so good together...Grey is so good to his sister...
Aunt Kathy and Mary stopped by for a little bit but then they headed up to Rockford to be with Kathy's mom for the day...
And these two added the creative little details to our day which I'll get to in a just a bit...
Aunt Amy and her Liv
and these two are still best buds
Uncle Alex is gonna get you....
and throw you over the fence - haha!
Grandma Joyce and Mary
Aunt Amy and Livy made these special candy bars for all the moms in our family...so cute!
I'm a lucky lady to get kisses from this lil' dude
and we tried for these pics...(Papa Mike was the one taking them ;)....
(maybe next year we can all be in focus;)
Of course Sister was taking her afternoon nap so she missed out on the pics...I don't think she minded though...
and these were the necklaces my Aunt Amy made for each of the moms in our family...they are nests with the 'right' number of eggs in them....I LOVE MINE! That was so thoughtful:)
It was a wonderful Mother's Day. These women in my life are amazing. They have been WONDERFUL examples of what mother's should be and have led the way to where I am today as a mom.
