56 Degrees

to be exact and that was according to Grandpa Hank.

So in January when we get these kind of days we head to the park.  We had not been out all day and I looked at Grey literally spinning in circles and thought my kid NEEDS some fresh air.  So that's it - stop what you are doing...pack up baby, pack up Grey and head on out!

Dropped Sailor off at my moms and the rest of us headed outside.  Thanks mom for always being available.  It just wasn't warm enough for Sailor yet.

So we said hello to the park...

and yes we had fun...it's simple but oh so GOOD.

And the '1st grader' imagination always has the best games in mind.  A little fun on the swings, some tag with Grey being 'it' a lot (ha!), and some hide-n-seek.

We need a little work on 'pushing' someone on the swings.

That is much better.

The cold crisp air felt good on my face and by the time we left we all had those rosy cheeks.

This was the sky at about 4:45.  I couldn't resist.

And just about when the sun was setting we did one last run around the baseball field.

And a kiss for mama...Thanks Liv...

and one more spin to make you feel dizzy and walk a crooked line

we decided to call it a day...But it was a good day and Greyson slept good after that.

And Livy has fun with my camera too...and thank goodness for that because otherwise our park days would be motherless.

Good things come from park days and a mama loves when her babies get some good sleep;)
