Morning Hussle and Bussle

Most of you know but it is a sad reality that my mommy had to go back to work. We got to spend 5 whole months together - me and my mom but then she did have to return to her job, so my mornings have changed quite a bit let me tell you. I went from relaxing all morning to the hussle and bussle of people who work. Come on -what is this??? My mommy gets up sometimes to work out, then she does laundry, then she gets herself ready for work, then she always tries to pick up the house too. And while my mom is running around the house like a chicken with her head cut off -this is what me and my daddy like to do!

Obama Baby!

You can definitely tell which way we "roll" in this household. OBAMA! My dad is quite a fan and he had to buy me this T-shirt! He is sure the political "buff" of the house. Sorry Batch's! hah! This is me after an afternoon spent with Papa Davey - I'm sure tired.
And as some of you know I was having trouble sleeping last week but it seems to have gotten a little better. For the past two nights I have eaten peas for supper and gone to bed about 8pm and I have not gotten my mommy or daddy up until about 5am so that's good for me!

Green comes first...

It was another FULL day for me. As you know earlier I went to Starbucks and then the afternoon consisted of watching the cubs game and trying out my first green vegetable-PEAS! My mom says to start with the green stuff first and then we will move onto something else. At first it wasn't that great but then I got used to the taste. My dad ate with me too while we watched the Cubs game so that made it better too! Here are some pictures and a video clip of my day!

Down at Sunday Night Dinner!

It was windy so Grandpa Davey let me borrow his "doo" rag that he wears on his Harley! Hmmmm it fit my head and it fits my grandpa Davey's head - what does that tell you???

Watchin' the Cubs game...

This was especially just right for my bottle!

This was my little afternoon snack time with my daddy while we watched the Cubs game together...
And here is the video clip of the big event with the peas...

Nothing to do so Starbucks it is...

It was a really rainy, gloomy morning, my daddy was gone fishing, so guess where my mommy and I went................Starbucks! Yep, Camron called us and asked if we were up for some coffee so of course we went. We met Camron and her girls there and my aunt Amy and Liv joined us too. As many of you know my mom and me are "frequenters" at Starbucks - they even know my name now. And it's really nice because the "Easter Bunny" got my mom a Starbucks gift card this year so that for sure guarantees her quite a few coffees. The only thing is we need to add some more boys into the mix of things. Right now I am the only boy at coffee "clutch" time with all of these women. I guess it will just have to do for now!

Here I am to prove it -right in the middle of all the girls - Hey, what can I say - I'm already the ladies man!!! hah!hah! Look at how I make them all smile!

Just hangin' out on the couch! Pretty soon I will have to bring my laptop!hah!

Good Little Boys are back for now...

Well, I am happy to report that our little man was very good in church tonight. We decided to go to Saturday night mass so we would not have to get up in the morning. Greyson had just gotten up from his nap and we were all ready for Church and he was back to his sweet little self. But, he had us laughing because there were kids behind us kind of causing some commotion in Church and Grey was very very nosy and cranked his head almost all the way around to STARE at them- it was too funny. It was almost to say hey that was me last weekend. Daddy held him most of the time and gave him his bottle in Church but he was very good. And then Grandpa Davey and Grandma Deb gave us a little treat and took Grey for a little bit while Nate and I went out for some dinner. Grammy and Papa took Grey for a walk and they visited their neighbors -The Entwistle's-so Grey was all out and about tonight. All in all it was a good day!!! And of course, I always like to end with some pics so here are some pics I took outside of Grey this weekend and of course he is sporting his Cubby gear again... Go Cubbies!

What, SLEEP, who needs it???

Greyson has changed his mind about sleeping these days. We were doing so so good. We would do tubby time at night, feed him at about 7 or 8 and then read to him and then off to dreamland he went. Well let me tell you Grey has had a change of plans. We still do all of the above but he has decided to get up at 1am 2am and 3am all in a night's sleep. So at 1am we usually bring him into bed with us which only leads to two adults almost falling off each edge of the bed and a baby in between rolling all over the place and when I say all over the place (in Grey's world he doesn't know which end is up). Then at 2am still trying to get him to go back to bed. Then 3am rocking him to sleep and at 4:30 he decided he needed his breakfast. So, trying to be a "good" parent we had a little talk at 4:30am in the rocker (just the two of us) and I told him that this whole sleep pattern just wasn't working, so we will have to see if the little talk from his mommy helped. Because according to Grey he can go to grammy's house the next day and sleep all day if he chooses but not his mommy and daddy.

But on an even lighter note as his mommy I am trying to just sit back and take it all in with Grey. Even though I would love to be sleeping (hah!) I still love rocking him in the middle of the night and having that "big" headed, chubby cheeker baby we like to call G-man smiling at me.

And then again he might be teething. So we are going to try out these all natural teething tablets tonight and see if they help. Wish us luck!!!

This is Grey in his we'll say "earlier" days when he would sleep - hah!hah!

I mean come on who couldn't sleep in this little "turtle" land...

Ants in my pants and noisy noisy...

Well it was a good morning. Grey had a nice warm tubby, then he took a nice long morning nap, and when he woke up he had a nice yummy breakfast. We have added bananas to his cereal which he gobbles right up. So we thought we were set for Church, little did we know Grey had something else up his sleeve. He was the noisiest little boy in Church. We tried everything. We were swaying, we were pulling out toys, we were handing him back and forth and NOTHING worked. He was talking and talking and arching his back and wanted nothing to do with being held, so his daddy had to bring him to the back of the Church for the first time. Little stinker he was, the only time he liked Church today was when we were able to sing because he could be loud right along with the best of them. And even though he was a little stinker in Church Grandpa Mike still treated him to breakfast.

This is Grey on the way to church today, but don't let this cute face fool you...

And of course, he did none of this in Church but he slept all through breakfast!

So much for good little boys in Church anymore-hah! hah!

Giggles...

Greyson has been struggling with a cold for a few days now, but we still manage to have fun at supper time. He was full of himself last night while I was feeding him his oatmeal, which by the way is a hit. He gobbles it right up. And here are some of his giggles for you. His voice might sound a bit funny but it's just because of his cold. He sure does make us smile.

What an Easter!!!

My first Easter was just great! I got this awesome new bouncy chair, some new toys, some new stuffed animals, and some new clothes. I especially liked the new cub gear since you know-tis' the season for the Cubbies! And, the Easter bunny even visited me at my Granny Ann's house maybe it was because I was such a good little boy in Church-ha!ha! Here are some pics for you...

But, he was sure a good bunny to me this year!
