A Sunday Night Boat Cruise...

Well, actually we called it the "Subway Dinner Cruise"....we like to spice it up.  And by spicy I mean we picked up Subway for dinner, hauled the boat to the lake where our 'property' is, had two kids packed into their life jackets, and a cooler.  Oh and cookies - must not forget the cookies.  Let me tell you we were looking good in the Alumacraft (insert sarcasm NOW) and if you don't know what the Alumacraft is, because I didn't just up until a little bit ago - it's our boat we have.  See I learned something so now I refer to it with it's proper name;)  We/I like to think of it as our yacht, at least that's what I tell myself when I get in.

So, without further ado I give you our night on the lake...
I told Nate he should paint this baby...so far he hasn't listened to me;)

Sister wasn't sure of the boat at first but then she got her hands on the steering wheel and she was SOLD.

This is how classy we are....we  brought wine but forgot cups/glasses...so what else were we to do?!

Yeah do you see this cool boat and the person water skiing - we didn't look like them - hahaha!  Remember we were the Subway dinner cruise;)  I think if the Alumacraft would have been going this fast you would have seen smoke;)

then we stopped by the beach to take a dip...

We were SHOCKED to see this...but it's true sister took a dip...

And the best part is that we just stopped on the side of the lake to have supper.....we plopped right in front of someone's lake house, drank from our wine bottles, caught some fish, lost our cooler lid, and had the country music turned way up...we were more of a hotttt mess but Subway Dinner Cruise sounded much better.

God Bless our niece, Giuliana Grace

Sunday our niece Giuliana (my brother Alex and Gina's baby) was baptized.  She wore the beautiful gown that all of our babies have worn.  The one my great grandmother made and is over 50 years old.  I love this tradition in our family.  Every time I see it I think how beautiful it is.

Gina and her mom getting Giuliana all ready...

This would be Sailor 'pre-baptism' starting her morning off right with some toast...she's a carb lovin' type girl
I pulled out her Christmas dress for the occasion.  I love this dress and I thought I'd get some more use out of it.

 waiting patiently in church...

Grey was very proud of himself...he had an important job of holding the candle...he did very good;)

Godparents were Gina's sister Karla and my dad...

grandmas and grandpas...great grandmas and great grandpas :)

and just a few more of my loves just because...

Happy Friday!

Some Hockey for the Holidays

Woody must have known we were taking Grey and Sailor to a hockey game Tuesday night because in the morning we found him in a tower of legos and under Grey's hockey helmet...

This had Nate's name written all over it...He wanted to take Grey to a hockey game...this is Grey's 2nd game he's been to and he REALLY enjoys it!  He has been so excited for the past week...since we told him we were going...the whole Ernat clan went...when we walked in, the guy collecting our tickets gave Grey a hockey puck - it pretty much made his night - he slept with it under his pillow...

I kept playing with the settings on my camera...indoor lights really throw me for a loop;)  that's why all these photos look the way they do...

Sailor took it ALL in...but luckily it was NOT crowded at all so sister could run 'free' down our aisle...

One good thing about hockey games is that there's always entertainment going on...whether a fight, music, dancing, throwing hockey pucks, the blimp,  seeing yourself on the big screen...there's always something going on...

 watching the blimp...

by the end...tootie was doing this and getting stuck in the seats....it was time to go....

a little fishing with a mistletoe was going on;)

Fun night!!!
