A Day for a hair cut

What else is there to do on a snow day other than get another hair cut?  Yep that's what we did.  We did some serious playing this morning, watched a little Sesame Street, went down for a nap, and then went to get a hair cut.  By the time we left to get a hair cut it was pretty bad out but we made it.  Grey was not very happy when we got there.  But, a sucker and mommy's lap did the trick.

These were taken with Nate's phone...I meant to bring my camera but I forgot it.

So, when we got home from the Barber shop Grey was full of hair so into the tub he went and then I styled his hair and took some pictures.

Happy Snow Day!

Cutler Disappoints...

and even though the Bears got beat it was just another reason to get together and have a good time.  Nate and I started off at Sidetracks for the 1st quarter, but then left to go hang out with the whole fam.  We were ALL in our bears gear not to mention Nate has not shaved his mustache until today.  It's all gone now that the Bears are OUT!

These were obviously taken right before the game started....

We were sure hoping for a win.

So during the game "Urlacher" built some cool forts out of all his blankets...

Intense on the game

while this one was intense on his horsey

with a "cocktail" of course

Just being together is what it's all about...

Is this little boy in for it once the baby comes or what?  lol!

Boy, he just doesn't ever get enough kisses I tell ya...

Papa Davey was rooting against the Bears...he just wanted his Jets to win, which they didn't do much better.....that's what Davey gets for talkin' all his smack...lol!

The game was still not over and we were still really hoping for a win....

Mommy and Grey (check out his faces)

Nate was not very happy at this point

and while we were all a little bummed about the game Dee Dee and Grey made a "choo choo train" out of the chairs......

and when it was all over with....the Bears had lost.....Nate was going a little nutty.....and I was enjoying a good ol' rootbeer float:)

Oh Well, maybe next year for the Bears!  But for now, it was a great Sunday spent together with the ones we love!  And nothin' beats that.

Days off and some LOVE

It's so nice to have that extra day to get re-organized and ready for something else.  Today we had off and I was able to tie up a few odds and ends around here......

For starters, I woke up bright and early and put a roast with fresh carrots and onions in the crock pot so that it could simmer all day in the kitchen.  I LOVE meals that call for the crock pot.

I vaccumed again....lol!  I have been going crazy with my new purchase.  I caved and bought a dyson and I LOVE IT!

I also printed a TON of pictures and put them in albums.  I try to do this every month but I have gotten behind, so today I was able to catch up.  I LOVE feeling organized.

And after vaccuming I decided to add a little LOVE to the house.  Valentine's Day is only a month away and so to add to the "winter" all around us I told Grey we needed a little red and pink around here to spice things up a bit.

I had forgotten about my Valentine's Day bin in the storage room and today I found it so I pulled it out.  I had two strands of pink lights, so pink lights it is...It just brightens it up a bit...

Grey likes it too:)  I thought he would which was the main reason I did it...

A little LOVE can go a long way...

Nate was also able to pick up my necklace he got me for Christmas.  It just came in and I LOVE it!  It looks cool on.  It is a cube and has all our names on each side of it along with our wedding date.

And of course a day off filled with some LOVE would not be complete without some serious reading.

Bianchis and Farm-N-Fleet

So, last night we were just not feeling the turkey left overs.  Instead, we headed to the best pizza joint ever - Bianchis.......Nate didn't feel like driving all the way over to Ottawa, but guess who won that one?  He never does, but once he gets there.....he's good to go!  It was packed when we got there but we only had to wait about 20 minutes and believe me the 20 minutes was well worth the wait for the X-Large cheese, pineapple, and canadian bacon pizza that we ordered.  However, I ordered a sprite for me and a water for Grey.  I tried telling him that "you and Mommy have the same thing in our cups" but somehow he just didn't believe me not to mention the fact that he heard me say "sprite" when I ordered -lol!  so needless to say Grey had my sprite and I had his water....while daddy enjoyed some beer.....

After Bianchis, we headed over to Farm-N-Fleet because Grey's daddy wanted to check on some boots.  Grey was in heaven with all the cool trucks and tractors there.  He kept saying "mommy look at dis" -it was cute.  But, the only thing we have to show for our Friday night out is Grey's new hat!  It was $5 and the minute he saw it he wanted it on so I splurged.  He walked around the whole store with it on so I kinda had to buy it.

So, we came home and Grey was asking for ice cream....he was getting his spoon all ready, but first we needed to get into PJs

and that's just what we did.....Grey and I anyway.......we were in our comfy clothes, cowboy hat on, and some mint chocolate chip ice cream to eat........and since Nate didn't want ice cream I made him take some pics:)

Grey gobbled up the ice cream and then it was time for bed.......ya know since Nate had already read Grey's Santa book to him about 20 times......

Our Friday Night...

Friday night we took Grey out for some mexican....we went to Fajitas.  After that we came home, and decided to let Grey run around outside for a bit.  It had just rained.  The guy across the street from us was cutting his grass and Greyson was enthralled with it.  It was like he had never seen a man with sunglasses on cutting his grass before or a lawn mower for that matter, which is definitely not the case.

I wonder why that guy has sunglasses on?

In deep thought over this man....cutting his grass...lol!

But then it was off to roam

Nope, back to some heavy thinking...

Then when Grey was leaning against one of the bushes his shirt got all wet, so we took it off and it was pretty funny....First, he was checkin' himself out

A little "manly" talk with daddy

Then he wanted to show the whole street his muscles (I wish this would have turned out better)

He's like yeah I know I look good on this street with my shirt off...

Then daddy was chasing him a bit

and then sadly our Friday Fun outside had to come to an end because it was time for Grey to take a bath, read some books, say his prayers, and hit the crib!
