Saturday morning the house was quiet. Nate and Grey were still sleeping. I could hear Sailor babbling to herself in her crib so I snuck in her room quietly where I was greeted with a "hi mama!" and a big smile...I love the smell of her in the morning...I swept her up and smothered her in kisses...i opened up her blinds and the sun was shining in...pure heaven if you ask me...
(After I changed Sailor's diaper....she didn't wanna get dressed.....so we played for a little bit in our diaper...)
this is a new decoration for sister's room that i found in my travels...the saying is PERFECT! (now i'm looking for one in blue for Grey's room - if I can't find one I will make one)
first thing she wanted to do was get her baby dolls and feed them...
it's funny because one minute she's feeding them all nice and sweet and the next minute she's either throwing them in a pile or stepping on them - ha!
Do you notice how they are all piled in her pack-n-play? That's what she does before she goes to bed;)
love theses moments with her...(and she's so much better about brushing her teeth these days - see her with her little toothbrush - she's ready)
then brother finally got out of bed...and joined us:)
sister is the best grocery shopper throughout the week ;)

The Park...
on a beautiful day with my kids.
Rewind about a week ago...the sun was shining and it was in the 40s....(today it is snowing out there) - i guess I'll say it's a good balance;) my kids get a good mix of weather...last week we pulled out bikes, scooters, and strollers...this week we are pulling out our snowsuits, sleds, and boots...
sister climbs right to the top of the slide gets down on her belly and slides backwards - I was getting a pretty big kick out of it to tell you the truth...

Fast forward to this week:
It looks something like this...
Happy Tuesday!

Nate's Birthday...
I feel so lucky to have this guy in my life. I don't know what I'd do without him. He's taught me SO much that he doesn't even realize it and I'm so happy I have him by my side through the good and the bad. I can honestly say that he's 'one of a kind' and puts his wife and family first and foremost. I'm a lucky 'gal'...Not to mention he's the best dad a kid could have and if you ever see him with his kids you would know just what I mean.
Nate turned 32 on Feb. 21st and out of those 32 years I've been around for about 17 of them:) (i met Nate when i was 15 - i think i did the math right?)
We had our families over to celebrate...
I cannot tell you how much Sailor loves her little cousin...
a little Candyland...
Grey couldn't wait to give Nate his card..
And Giuliana even wore her 'i love my uncle' t-shirt...she already knows how to 'work' the crowd;)

God Bless our niece, Giuliana Grace
Sunday our niece Giuliana (my brother Alex and Gina's baby) was baptized. She wore the beautiful gown that all of our babies have worn. The one my great grandmother made and is over 50 years old. I love this tradition in our family. Every time I see it I think how beautiful it is.
Gina and her mom getting Giuliana all ready...
This would be Sailor 'pre-baptism' starting her morning off right with some toast...she's a carb lovin' type girl
I pulled out her Christmas dress for the occasion. I love this dress and I thought I'd get some more use out of it.
waiting patiently in church...
Grey was very proud of himself...he had an important job of holding the candle...he did very good;)
Godparents were Gina's sister Karla and my dad...
grandmas and grandpas...great grandmas and great grandpas :)
