Night out with the Ernats

This was a couple weeks ago.  All dressed up for a Saturday night out...filled with dinner and dancing at a friends wedding.  Good times!

everything about Fall......

We've been a little under the weather.  Grey has a horrible cough right now and Sailor has a cold as well.  But, we tried not to let the runny nose and cough get us down too much...

fashionista here for sure-ha!

Our halloween books are laying around everywhere...

I didn't want to take them very far this weekend but we were dying to have some Halloween fun...so we did venture out to some things locally...they had a little halloween parade and trick or treating in town...so I brought along my power ranger and my peacock...

Our buddy and pretty pirate Livy joined us too...

the three of them looked so stinkin' cute...

Nate had to work but he was able to go with us to the parade for a little bit...it was just kind of an 'off' weekend...but that's ok because it's freakin' halloween (one of my favorite holidays) and we will rock it the best way we know how...

We even saw Captain America

so she ran...haha!

And I'm back...I started writing this post last night...I just put both kids to bed...I have a fire going, a little 'Hocus Pocus' on in the background, and a Pumpkin Spice candle burning away...life is good:)

Have I mentioned that I love Halloween?!

and the fact that we were able to see all the characters from Wizard of Oz just added a little bit more to our 'halloween kick off'...

and Tinkerbell just makes me smile...that and all her fairy dust glory...

and balloons - yeah those make me smile too;)

We are excited for the Halloween festivities this week and I have a little boy super excited for his birthday.  We have the count down going and a Happy Birthday sign already hanging on our mantle.  He's ready to party and so are we.

Picture Day at School...

 This was this morning....they had both just gotten out of the tub and all dressed up so I pulled them outside for a few pictures.

I do have to say he was looking pretty cute for picture day...can't wait to see them!

Loving Fall

Well maybe I should re-word that...most of the time we are loving Fall;)  This particular day I was having a little bit of a pity party for myself...I think moms need that from time to time...

I needed to clean my house...Greyson woke up at 6am on this particular morning (I wanted to say - just SLEEP CHILD!)...Nate was at work....my mom and dad were out of town.....and I think I started to whine to myself...i think my exact words were - "I NEVER GET TO SIT"  wah wah wah!  I know...so I threw them both in the tub literally-ha! and got them dressed and we went outside to play.  Probably didn't need to bathe them but you always feel better after a tubby;) 

So, I pulled myself together - i got over my whining jag....and we headed over to Dee Dee's...and she did offer to keep my kids while I went to the grocery store ALL BY MYSELF.  She even threw in a "go stop for a latte too Leesh".....i was so excited.....I was able to go to the grocery store and I did in fact stop for a frappuccino...talk about ONE.GLORIOUS.HOUR. - thanks Deb:)

Life with these two is soooooooooooooooooo insanely busy right now....but I wouldn't change it for the world!

This sums it up....Greyson always looking in the right direction ready to go and Sailie not so much;)

My kids are at such fun stages...Greyson is very smart and the stuff that comes out of his mouth on a daily basis always makes us laugh...Sailor is right on the brink of talking...these days she puts everything either in the garbage or in the laundry basket...The other day I found my makeup in the garbage...not good;)  But we tell her to get her coat - she goes right to the closet - we tell her to get her shoes - she goes right to her closet - we tell her it's time to go bye-bye-she goes right to the door...so fun to watch her!  She's another smart cookie around here...

We were even able to fit in some fun with our friends...

And you know what else - it really is fun to jump and play in leaves - I think I might have forgotten this...but believe me - I remember now!

That's what is so great about my job as 'their' mom...they show me the small things everyday...

Sailie is ready to get down and dirty...sister knows how to throw some fall leaves...

and this lil dude is getting pretty good on his skateboard...

and trust me this lil' girl is on a crazy mission when she's with her grocery cart...haha!

Look what we found...it's 'Dach Vader'...Greyson just about lost it in Target:)

Typical woman - with her phone;) or Nate would say -just like her mother;)
