Greyson is 14 months old today. He is just a BABBLING machine and he will laugh at just about anything. We have been blessed with a happy/go-lucky type of kid! He walks everywhere and LOVES to play hide-n-seek. He also still loves music. No matter where we are or what we are doing the minute Grey hears some type of beat he starts moving his hips and shakin' it and now he has started to use his hands....It's pretty hilarious if you ask me.
As far as the babbling goes...recently it has been a sort of chant (if you will) it goes like this Greyson starts with "dada" and then nate answers with "Greyson" and this continues for quite some time and it just keeps going back and forth and once in a while he will use "mama";) He is such a daddy's boy right now. Honestly sometimes I think you little **** I bathe you...I feed you...I read to you...I tuck you in at night...I change your diapers (Nate does this too) but come on throw me a bone here Grey...lol! He does love his daddy. But, I know he knows and loves his mommy too! It's a feeling I get (it's hard to explain) he likes to look and see that I'm there but then he's off!
Greyson also loves his sippy cup. That's the first thing he gets in the morning...a nice ice cold glass of milk to start his day and he's a happy camper...that is of course after I change his diaper!
He waves hi and bye and I know he can say them too he just doesn't do it all the time. He signs please and thank you and is a pretty smart kid. He "signs" lots more but just not when I ask him to;) He knows where his hair and ears are for sure...the other ones not quite yet-he sometimes points to his eyes on cue and his nose...but I have said this before I think Grey knows a lot more than what he leads on sometimes. He loves to hold things on his own and eat on his own. I could clean my kitchen floor everyday right after Grey gets done eating:) However, Greyson has started to show us that he does have a temper. If things don't go exactly how Grey wants them to go he starts this high pitched squeal and turns it into a cry/tantrum. When asked what the lion or tiger says Grey says grrrrrrrrrr...but then we say what does the dog say and Grey says grrrrrrrr...lol! We are workin' on those!
He also LOVES gadgets and anything electronic. He still loves to walk around the house with daddy's cell phone and if you try to pass him by with a fake phone...LOOK OUT! He knows-they always know (why do kids know the fake ones?) My dad tried giving him his old cell phone the other day (he just took the battery out) so it was still a "real" cell phone but Grey had a fit to say the least. He also thinks it's funny to play with the dvd player and remotes and turn the TV off especially at Papa Mike's house. Every time Grey walks by the TV at my parents house he decides to turn it off. Needless to say, Papa Mike and Uncle Alex don't always find this cute;) He can be a stinker!
He is blooming into a beautiful or should I say rad (yeah that sounds more boyish) little boy and has the personality to go with it. He can melt your heart...make you smile...mess your house....take your cell phone and remote...test your buttons...press those buttons...destroy your cupboards...He can just about do it all-hah! We love you Greyson! Happy 14 months BUD!
Here is a little video I took of Grey yesterday on New Years Day! He also let mommy and daddy sleep until 8am?!?!? whaaaaaa? Don't know how or why that happened. I am sure it was just a tease on his part.
Oh and just so you know on his tray that looks so appetizing after he smushed all his food up was a pancake and sausage link...it did look good at first;)
What a great laugh - love it!!!
ReplyDeleteI always love the top family or Grey picture but I really miss the New Year one. These snow ones might become my second favorites. Keep up the good work. Can't start my day without reading about the little cutie. Suzan
