Planting Day for the Ernats!

My mom is running behind this year. She usually has her flowers in by Mother's Day but not this year and I do have to say I think I am part of the reason for that-hah! Anyway, our Saturday started with some lunch at Quiznos and I got to sit in a high chair there and I did pretty good and just ripped up all their napkins - okay not alllll their napkins but quite a few and then I threw them on the floor but mom and dad picked them up so we were all good. And my mommy gave me a taste of her cheddar broccoli soup and I gobbled it right up. I don't let too many things slip by my mouth you know. Then we headed to HyVee where my mom got her flowers and my dad decided he was gonna do some planting of his own. Peppers! Yep, never done it before, has no clue what he has to do but gosh darnet he's gonna have all kinds of peppers this summer! And while all this was going on back at the ranch, I slept for part of it and the other part of it was watching my mommy plant flowers and do yard work from inside my little pack-n-play! I was a good little boy I must add. And I especially liked it when my mommy took the hose to her flowers because I enjoyed the light mist coming through my quarters! Hah!hah! I will leave you with some photos of our great day so that you get the "picture." We hope all of you have a great weekend!

Here's me after lunch today - some sweet potatoes and papaya for the first time- mmmmm good!

Hey what can I say I'm just a happy kid and the woman behind the camera just does a pretty good job of gettin' me goin'

Here's me relaxin' while my mommy and daddy do their planting...

There I am again!

Thought for the day:
I am thankful for a lawn that needs mowing, windows that need cleaning and gutters that need fixing because it means I have a home.... I am thankful for the piles of laundry and ironing because it means my loved ones are nearby. ~Nancie J. Carmody
