The Christmas Bells were ringing loud and clear.
We huddled together last weekend as the close knit family that we are and celebrated the glorious holiday of Christmas. I was pretty giddy I must admit;)
And this little boy was excited...oh was he excited!
And even though we are ALL together (mine and Nate's family) on the holidays we still find time to enjoy some special moments with our individual families...
So, with that being said Friday night Deb, Ellary, and I popped open a bottle of wine and sat back and enjoyed the action...
Let's just say Greyson is ready for some serious ice skating...he has the skates, the pads, the hockey mask, and hockey sticks...
and a BIG monkey to snuggle with
Everyone enjoyed snuggling with the monkey on Friday:)
Christmas Eve morning we splurged. We stayed in our jammies and headed over to grammy Ann and papa Mikes...
Grammy Ann made us a wonderful breakfast and had the table set so pretty;) I love Christmas dishes, don't you?!
As I was saying...we splurged with mimosas and family time;)
And then we all gathered around the table where we said our prayers...Greyson was so patient with waiting to open presents.
I loved these spoons...aren't they pretty - Georgia picked them up for my mom...they had her name written all over them.
And these two....well they are my loves...and in honor of Christmas we dressed them in their Santa hats and stuck them by the fireplace...
Grey got a BIG kick out of his new shirt from grammy and papa and so did everyone else-ha!
and the big thing was a train table this year - he's one lucky lil' boy.
The rest of the day was spent getting everything in order for Christmas and getting those last minute things done...Sailor and Grey both took nice long naps on Saturday before we headed to Christmas Eve mass...which was VERY crowded...Sailor and I spent the majority of the mass in the back room...
After mass we all headed over to Dee Dee and Papa Davey's house for some fun...
Sailor and her Great grandpa Hank
Christmas Blessings for sure...
It's such a special time of year...
This year that magic horse entertained again
and so did Grey's new drum set
and who doesn't love the baby;)
We just keep adding to our crew every year...It was fun sitting around the table with our cocktails and 'girl' talk which may or may not have included boys, chemical peels, and hemorrhoids-ha! and much much more I assure you.
Alex and Gina getting their pic in front of the fireplace for me...love that cute dating phase-don't you?
Every year on Christmas Eve we go up to the attic before going home and we leave Santa a little 'something'
Ahhh yes this would be a plate of fruit snacks this year...Grey insisted on this instead of cookies for Santa.
When we got home we sprinkled our reindeer food along our path...
Christmas morning came bright and EARLY for Grey...He could not wait to open the 'big' door on his house...
and Christmas morning delivered BIG time...
Grey opened Sailor's presents because she was sleeping...Trust me she didn't mind.
and our Christmas Day continued up in Algonquin at Aunt Diana's house (nate's aunt)...Grey had his buddy Brayden there to play with ...
and yes here is that tongue again----IT.IS.ALWAYS.OUT!
I think Brayden wants another baby around...he was very interested in Sailor.
So there you have it...our Christmas was wonderful...we had family gatherings, rich and delicious food, cocktails galore, happy/healthy babies, and we made so many great memories.
So Merry Christmas I say to you...
I hope all of you have another great weekend and Happy New Year!
