Sailor's 2nd Birthday Party.

Sailor's actual birthday, June 29th landed on a Saturday this year so that worked out perfect.  We had Sailor's party at our house.  I really didn't have a set plan or theme in mind.  The first thing I ordered was her cake.  I asked for white frosting with pink polka dots and some cupcakes and everything just spiraled from there;)  I got balloons, supplies, and a few decorations from Dollar Tree and some things from Hobby Lobby.  I also rented a jumpy house for the kids.  And for not having a plan, I must say it went really good.
Sailor has so many dresses that she hasn't worn yet so I was just going to put her in one of those.  Well a week before her party I thought she needed a 'birthday outfit'....so i texted my aunt Amy totally last minute - "you need to hook me up with a birthday outfit for Sister";)  Dee Dee and Auntie Mims brought her home this tutu from Hawaii and Amy made the shirt and bows...it was so stinkin' cute...
You definitely couldn't miss the birthday girl...

Sailie asked for a cupcake before the party so I let her dig in...

Cake and Cupcakes from Linday Kelsey.
I picked up flowers at Aldi's...can't beat it...

plates and napkins from Dollar Tree

Pre-party kisses with my girl...

Pictures from Sister's special day...and my usual warning...PICTURE OVERLOAD:

This one cracks me up - check out the birthday girl yawning...she just can't handle a good party yet;)

This should be a post in itself but I'll include it here;)  Say hello to Sailor's grandma's...boy you give these two a couple glasses a wine and some Hawaiian cigars - LOOK OUT!
Dee Dee brought cigars home from Hawaii for Nate...Not sure if he had any or not;)

And that's a wrap...This two year old little girl partied hard...right after this I put Sailie to bed for the night...
Good friends, good food, good drinks, good conversation make for a pretty good party...

Happy 2nd Birthday Tootie!

  4. Well, it absolutely worked out. This theme is any day perfect for a little princess like her. I loved going through the complete post and picked up some ideas for my daughter’s birthday celebration as well. I do have an LA venue in mind and I can decorate it nicely for the day.
