WHO is Greyson to me?

Grey to me...

• is a beautiful little boy
• is a one year old little boy (ALMOST 13 months)

• is a boy with absolutely NO balance skills whatsoever




• is one who thinks 'cool' toys are overrated...he'll take a cardboard box to play with anyday




• is one who does not "get" to go forward yet in his car....only backwards




• is a boy with swollen gums at the moment...come on one year molars...bring it on...




• is a carefree type of kid




• is a footsie pajama kinda guy




• is a boy who LOVES his tubby




• is a boy with big beautiful blue/gray eyes




• is a boy with curly hair that's everywhere




• is a boy that's full of interesting mumbo jumbo type lingo (if you will)

• is a boy that loves to help mommy in the kitchen...if he can't see what's going on....on the counter...he gets really mad...




• is a boy that loves to take apart all the cupboards still

• is a boy that's a "swimmer" (lol) for right now anyway

• is a boy that I need to break of the bottle someday very soon

• is a boy that loves to lay in his mommy and daddy's bed




• is a boy that loves to be outside




• is a BOY that's ALL BOY




• is a boy who thinks he can walk so good he can run...but NOT yet "buddy boy"




• is a boy that's my son...my first born son for that matter

• is a boy that thinks we have a dog...(he loves to throw his food on the floor for someone to eat...but it's always mommy or daddy just picking it up-lol!)

Grammy Ann's Office...

Last Thursday morning 11/19/09 it was grammy Ann's birthday and Grey and I snuck into her office to stick a flower and a card on her desk. It was so funny because as soon as I sat Grey in her chair he picked up the phone. I wish I would have had the video camera. Seriously my kid LOVES any type of remote or phone. Grammy Deb is always saying..."I wonder what that means?!?!?!?" hah!

Either way Grammy Ann had a nice little surprise when she got to work on Thursday!

*Sidenote*

Greyson had his one year check-up yesterday afternoon. We had to wait a bit because of the flu shot last time. There had to be so many days in between so Dr. Running just said to wait til' the end of the month so he did not have to go twice. Anyway Grey weighs 23lbs and is 31 1/4in. long. He is doing great! He had to get 4 total shots one being the 2nd part of the flu shot. He took the first two like a champ but then with the 3rd and 4th he whaled....it was like come on lady....are you kiddin' me?!?!? He did good though and he was really performing for Dr....it was funny!

And NOW our life and the ERNAT clan of 3! We sure can put it together....Having a family of your own is such a wonderful blessing..."Buddy Boy" was not too happy in this pic...lol!

Yesterday I had to "take in" a very precious moment to me. I really have not had this yet. I think it's because we are never really around too many different people. We are always with grammy Ann, grammy Joyce, or Aunt Amy and of course me......his mommy!

When I pick Grey up after work I always of course get a hug and a kiss but then it's back to what he was doing....like hey mom I know you just got back from work but I'm busy here....kinda thing...Well yesterday Grey and I ran to the mall and now when i go there we usually have to make a pit stop at the play area there....Grey LOVES it! Well, Grey was playing and I was following him around like a proud mama just smiling at him the whole way and he was crawling at the time and NOT looking up....well I was not too far but he got to this ladies foot looked up with this really WEIRD face that I had never seen before looked like he was ready to cry BUT then he SPOTTED ME and it really did melt my heart. He got the biggest, widest grin on his face and literally ran to me like he hadn't seen me in "ages." It really made my day....it was really nothing.....but it was a BIG something to me! I love you Grey!

Mommy and Grey go to the Park!

Yesterday, I took the afternoon off. It was a pretty nice day. The whole other part of the week was rainy and cloudy so Grey and I thought we should take advantage of the sunshine and get some fresh air...We just took a walk to the park near our house. It was kinda lonely there though, but I guess the other weekend when we went it was mid 60s...a Sunday afternoon....and quite a bit of other kids there.....But, not this time.....this time it was just mommy and Grey which of course I didn't mind at all....it was just quiet there...lol! And Grey was a little crabby but it was getting close to nap time. Ebby joined us too!
