I Love Halloween....

Halloween is one of my FAVORITE holidays. I don't even know why but I really do love it. I love the orange and black....I love the fall weather....I love to carve pumpkins....I love the Halloween decorations.....and even though it makes the kids crazy I just love it!

So, anyway I have a very busy October and November so I am trying to stay on top of things. So, I already have Grey's costume and I'm not sure if we are revealing what he is until Halloween...it might make for a cute blog header though so maybe I won't be able to wait lol! But we also ordered him a trick or treat bag and we just got that in the mail....

Isn't it cute? Of course, we had to personalize it and now he can have this for a lonnnnnng time

He had to check it out

Trying to reach again on my hutch at the decorations...

And some play time with mommy this time...

And here's Grey and mommy supporting Da' Bears!
Grey looks so amused doesn't he?!?!?

And just a little monster mash for you...And I don't know why I turned the camera I thought it would be up and down...my bad...just turn your head a bit to check out Grey's moves!

10 Years Out!

Well, Grey your mommy celebrated her 10 year reunion this past weekend...Daddy will celebrate his 10 year reunion from St. Bede in a couple weeks. Yes you have total opposite ends here with where your parents went to high school so it should be interesting where you end up when we get to that point.
But, 10 years out of high school.....college after that.....found a job in pre-school....then landed a job in kindergarten....your daddy put a ring on my finger.....bought a house in between when daddy didn't have a job yet....fixed up the house while daddy was student teaching....got married.....then after about 3 years we had the best gift God could give to a couple...a sweet baby....the sweetest baby ever I might add.....
So, Grey in all of these 10 years I can honestly say through everything you are the best thing and hardest thing I have ever had to do (The 3 hours of pushing with you was the hardest thing I have ever had to do in my entire life...I thought every blood vessel in my face was going to pop). NO one could have prepared me for all the emotions and feelings I would feel as a mom. Grammy Ann always tells me it will be my hardest job yet the best job as a mom! And, I know just what she means. I am a mom IN-TRAINING, but you are the best thing that has happened to us in all of these 10 years and have shown us a whole new meaning about life.

This was our big Saturday night out....Grey was already in his PJ's...so we took a quick family snap shot and then off we went...

Some of mom's girlfriends.....what do you think...10 years out....no way!?!?!?!

End of the night....time to go home and head to bed....can't handle these late nights anymore...

He's already havin' fun in kindergarten...

Well not really, but kinda!
I do really good all week but then by Friday I've had it and need a "Greyson Fix" in between to get me through my day. I think I am gonna make it just part of the schedule that every Friday Papa Mike and Grey come have lunch with me at school. Well maybe not through flu season though...
Anyway, Grey came to visit me yesterday at school and had lunch with me. I tried to feed him his but he was too busy checking everything out in my classroom...

He climbed on the chairs...

He liked the white board

He wanted to put everything in his mouth though...BIG NO NO with all the germs

Water bottle break...he's fascinated with these things...

He played with the blocks...

More climbing...

Grey sat at the kids tables and even ripped one of the kids name tags...The little girl came in from recess and was so upset about her name tag and we were all wondering who did it?!?!? Needless to say, I just made her out a new one...lol! We could not hold Grey responsible...

L-P Parade

So yesterday was the L-P homecoming parade. Greyson just so you know your mommy used to be in that parade too. For four years I cheered for that school and we were always the cute ones in the back of those sporty convertibles.

Anyway, we went, we saw, and we came home. I was not sure how Grey would do because he does get scared with loud sounds but he didn't do too bad. I didn't even bring a bag to get candy because.....
A. Grey cannot have any of that junk yet and
B. I would be the one eating it...
However, grammy Deb did a pretty good job picking up candy and then she just loaded it all up in the basket of my stroller.
Just getting down to our "spot" for the parade

Playin' with Ebby

Greyson and his sidekicks

Playin' with the leash

Not a clue as to what is about to begin...lol

I think I'll chew on some binoculars

Okay here they come....We could see all the lights coming our way

Still in amazement

And papa was trying to cover my ears because is was sure LOUD

Greyson exactly one year ago I took you to the same parade and we stood in the same spot (by the doughnut shop) but you were inside my belly....Just somethin' to think about...
So, all in all Grey did pretty decent I will say no big real tears just some whining...
