Only the beginning...

Greyson decided to enter our lives on November 2, 2008! We decided to take a night out since we knew that our nights "out" were slowly numbered! We went to Bartley's for a late night dinner-8pm to be exact but that was pretty late for the Ernats especially the one that had to eat all the time since she was 9 months pregnant! I had shrimp for supper and started to feel a little weird with some belly cramps. I decided to go home(9:30 by then) and we both went to bed. However, at midnight my water broke and off to the hospital we went. I must add that Nate had to grab his Time magazines and had to be assured that there was plenty of coffee at the hospital, little did he know he would not be doing too much of either! So to make a long story short - we got to the hospital and it was HARD labor with no meds right from the start and 13 hours to add to that as well. I pushed for 3 hours and our little G-man still did not want to come out so they took me in for an emergency c-section and we finally were able to meet our little miracle and of course we had our wonderful families taking up the entire OB hallway of the hospital waiting as well! And, on Sunday, November 2, 2008 at 2:56pm out came a beautiful 7lb 5oz 19in long bright eyed baby boy!!! In the blink of an eye, our lives were changed forever and with just one sight of Greyson we were so in love!!! And so our journey begins... We have started this blog to keep you updated on all our walks in life as a married couple and as a family that's growing everyday! This blog has become very very important to me as it has marked all of our important life/family events and just our everyday stuff as well! Stay tuned as our story continues to BLOSSOM...
