Basketball

In case you don't know basketball is very BIG to the Riva boys! I mean pretty huge! Growing up basketball was life! Well not "life" but you know what I mean! Because of this intense love for basketball papa mike bought grey a hoop for Christmas and grey NEEDS a little work! For starters Grey's first action with the hoop is to knock it down and then sit on it! But the main thing is that instead of putting the ball through the hoop Grey likes to put his head through the hoop, which is a big red flag! No need to worry though Grey because there are plenty of boys around here that can teach you the right way!

This was another half time show....Grey still thinks the fish tank is pretty cool and still likes to go behind it and make funny faces...

Oh and Grey there's also no need to worry on your daddy's end of it because he's more of a football/baseball kinda guy!

Final Product

Well Grey and I did end up getting our hair done last night and here is the final product.  I bet some of you are thinking that he didn't even get a haircut but believe me he DID and he did not want to sit for Abbie AT ALL, but a couple hair brushes later and a water bottle to squirt at Nate and I we were good go...


And then we came home to a TON of new toys....that good ol' grammy Ann picked up a whole bunch of new toys for Grey to play with.....a girl she works with gave her a whole bin full of cool "boy" toys and one just happens to be a garbage truck which was the hit last night at our house...go figure!


and we not only have the Handy Manny tool set but now we have Handy Manny himself to play with!

Thanks so much for always thinking of us grammy!

Hair cut time again

I think when I am able to do this with Grey's Hair it means it's time for another trim!  I swear my mom panics everytime I mention a haircut for Grey.  If it were up to her Greyson would still NOT have ever had a "first" haircut!  It's a good thing I go tonight to get mine done, I think I might just bring Grey with me to get his done!





This is what Grey looks like after a long hard day of work!  lol!  Pretty dirty after being outside.....it was just about tubby time but before that Grey and daddy had to play a bit......

It was a toss up but in the end they decided on the "i'm gonna get you" game which Grey LOVES

What did we do this Weekend?

A whole lot of nothin'!

My Uncle Mark who lives in Virginia is visiting (my dad's brother) and would you believe I don't have one picture of him yet.....I know!  We spent a lot of time with him over the weekend and just hung out....

we did get outisde for a little bit...

had some laughs

caught some cheese

but some seriousness too

grammy ann had everyone over for a steak dinner, but Grey didn't use the best table manners...lol!


then we stripped him down to run free


He tried to jump....Grey thinks it's pretty funny when we jump and then he tries but he doesn't quite get it yet....it's pretty funny to see...

we blew some "blurry" kisses this weekend too...

and just acted like a goof-ball which is always fun

we had tickle time with papa Mike

we counted fingers

and toes


and then we clapped those fingers and toes together

we got stuck between the wall and chair but did manage to get out

and of course showed Ebby some love....these pictures just progress with Ebby...it was pretty funny...

Ebby kept trying to lick Grey

so he turned around and let Ebby lick his back...lol!

Just a good weekend of doing really nothing at all......
