The 3rd of July brought on...

TEARS!!! We were not expecting it from our little man, but he was just not happy down on waterstreet. First things first, we did miss our Papa Mike too. He had to work, but his paycheck will be nice after having worked a holiday. Okay, so we had the whole thing planned out, because of course that is part of the whole "mom" thing -
A. You have to have a plan and
B. You have to be on a schedule (most of the time)

The plan was to go to the boat club about 5:30 with the whole family eat some dinner and then Granny Deb and Papa Davey offered to bring Greyson back home while we went down to the beer gardens. Sounds good -right! So, Grey got up from his late afternoon nap about 5:15, had a bottle, and was ready to go. I thought he would do just great! Well, as soon as we got down to the Boat club Grey just was NOT happy and was crying really really hard especially for him. I think it was just too much for him. There were a lot of people and there was a band also and he was just not having it. He did settle down after a while and everybody took their turn walkin' him around so it did turn out fine. He made it through supper and we also got him a little 1st 4th of July present-just a 4th of July Nutcracker-(Grey and his dad get one every single year from St. Nick) so we will add this one to the collection. He liked ripping the paper anyway!

And then about 7:30 granny Deb and Papa Davey took Grey home to bed and Nate and I had our big night out-oh yeah! We actually made it until about midnight! Needless to say I was very tired! Here are lots of pics for you-of course...

This is what Grey looked like when we first got there-poor little guy!
